Various programs to be observed on the occasion of “Sheikh Russell Day” 18-October-2023
Details
On the occasion of "Sheikh Russell Day", various programs were observed in Kushtia District Jail. After Fajr prayers prayers were offered for his forgiveness at Kara Jama Masjid. Sweets are distributed after the prayer. Banners with illuminated images of Sheikh Russel were displayed in the office premises and floral wishes were offered. Banga Bandhu Cultural Forum Collectorate Square, Kushtia A wreath was placed on Sheikh Russell's portrait and after that a colorful rally was participated in.
Painting is organized with the children of prison officers/employees. Toy items like chips, chocolates, biscuits etc. are distributed as gifts to the imprisoned students.
